Dear Brother and Sister Nielsen,
We are happy to report that Anziano Nielsen has been made a senior companion. This is an important calling and comes because of his proselyting and teaching skills and his diligence in studying and learning the Italian language. His familiarity and study of Preach My Gospel is an important component in his knowledge and understanding of the missionary lessons and doctrines of the church. We are pleased with his overall growth and development as a faithful servant of the Lord.
It will be important for your son to rely on the Spirit for inspiration on how to conduct the work in his area. As senior companion, he will be responsible for the missionary work of his companionship. We are confident of his abilities as he has shown leadership and enthusiasm for growth.
We know you are proud of your son. He is a wonderful young man and we are thankful to have him here in the Italy Catania Mission. Thank you for preparing him to be called to this great work. We know the Lord will bless him and also bless you as a result of his missionary labors.
