Feb 25 all caught up!!

They had another great lesson with Anna about the need for authority and when they shared stories from the Bible and Book of Mormon she accepted it well.

He said the Church partnered with Google for a much better emailing system for the missionaries with lots more space and options.

He said its been hard with Kwame not coming to Church, he hadn’t been since his confirmation! Anz Nielsen doesn’t know what happened but they did see him on the street the other day and he told them he would come this Sunday so he’s praying hard for that. Then later in his mission report there was this update: “we also saw Kwame the other day on the street! That was awesome!!! We were able to help him and find where he works so we can talk to the people! He said that he wants to come he just cant because he works! I told him to pray for help and then ask for an hour for sacrament meeting! He was happy and well, just missing church! that was really great!!!”

Mack and David are ready to be baptized but have to deal with their refugee status first so that everything is good with the Italian government. They are waiting for and have been promised work so hopefully that will actually come through and lead to everything else working out for them asap.

Sina is also ready to be baptized but is having some serious health problems so they are trying to help her through that.

Their English course students made lasagna for the Elders and the Elders made cookies for them and they ate together at the church, everyone really enjoyed it.

Brother Palma helped them work on reactivating a great family who said they would come to church this Sunday. Anz Nielsen said this about Brother Palma: “He is awesome! He is always so willing to help and do things for and with us and is just a good solid member!”

He enjoyed the box of Coco’s curry we sent from Oki and said this about it: “guess what I cooked?! are you ready....?!? COCO'S CURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man it was so good!!!!! I hadn't tasted that goodness is such a long time! It was awesome!!!!!!”

He closed with this…
today was really cool!! We had planned to go to Monopoli to see a sight called Alberobello (google it) with the zone. So our district got on the train and went to the city and when we got there the bus to go meet the rest of the zone had already gone. but it worked out alright in that the four of us got to see some awesome stuff! We just walked along the coast and took pictures! it was so great! I loved it! The water was so blue! It was just awesome!! I took tons of pics! Some pretty cool stuff! it was really fun chilling with the others and seeing that gorgeous part of Italy! It reminded me a lot of Oki walking on these coral cliffs!”

Well that's all the news from our missionary, check back soon for more excitement and lots of new photos!
