Elder Nielsen said the doctors make house calls there! He had a doctor come to his home when he was sick and he gave him some medicine and it sounds like he is starting to feel better now. He said having the doctor make a house call was weird but really handy!
This week they did some proselyting in Sliema, and he had this to say about it...
"Sliema is a really great little coastal town that is just full of people! I think here in Malta my favorite form of pros. has got to be street! I love it! there are so many people to talk to! And the really cool thing is that people here actually stop and listen! It is really nice! I really like that!... Anyway street in English has been really interesting as well! Cool though! "
He described an "epic" day when they were able to begin teaching the gospel with 5 new people!
He enjoyed a new Maltese treat made with dates (he forgot what they are called but said it was tasty!).
He said he really likes learning the Maltese language!
A dinner cancellation led to their meeting Steve and Leo...

"They are two of the greatest kids i have ever met! We stopped them on the street and talked about the Book of Mormon and they were literally so excited about it! They told us that they really really wanted to read them! WHOA! it was awesome! MALTA IS BURSTING WITH POTENTIAL! I am so excited to help it explode here! The CHURCH IS SO TRUE!!!!!"
They had zone conference (his first in Malta) and said it was really different from the usual 20-30 missionaries because there was only the 6 of them this time. But he enjoyed that because it was more personal and he said he learned so much! He praised President and Sister Toronto's total sincerity and kindness and said "they are amazing!"

The 4 Elders on special assignment in Malta
Then he wrote about getting sick...
"Then after that well i got sick! lol! It started after that and we did some pros. but then i just couldn't! I tried but i couldn't! Its ok i got a blessing and am taking the medication! but don't worry everything is fine! I am fine just human and apt to illness but hey we can learn from every situation! That is one thing i have really learned on the mission and in life really is that you can learn something constantly and in every situation. That is pretty obvious but the important thing is to apply it and change it if you want to make it better and make your life better and make the lives of others better! That is one of the main reasons i love being a missionary! I love helping people so much!! "I LOVE teaching the Gospel it's so simple and has everything that [u] need in it! The Gospel rocks! Want to find true happiness? Try the gospel! Its guaranteed 100% there is no warranty because its fail proof! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!"
